Rio Rico High School / Future Farmers of America are proudly showcasing their livestock at the Santa Cruz County Fair in Sonoita. Our dedicated students raised and cared for their animals for approximately 6–8 months in preparation for this event. This experience highlights the responsibility, commitment, and skills they have developed through agricultural education. We are proud to support our lifelong learners.

The Rio Rico High School JROTC Color Guard organized a meaningful ceremony in honor of September 11, led by LTC Roque and 1SG Moore. The event was filmed and photographed by CTE teachers Mr. Bickerton and Mr. Garcia, showcasing the collaboration and support among our programs. Our JROTC cadets demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism throughout the ceremony, honoring the day with pride and respect.

Some of our Rio Rico High School Interact Club members attended pasta kitchen this past weekend at the Crossroad Mission Family Center in Nogales. They were able to help prepare meals for over 40 individuals! 🍲Our students are always seeking out ways to collaborate with groups to help give back to the community.


**Winter Sports Callout Meeting Tomorrow, 9/11**

Our RRHS Sports Medicine interns participated in the volleyball game tonight. Both interns practiced taping and wrapping techniques as part of their internship. They are currently learning and working alongside Ms. Lerma, our Athletic Trainer. This is an example of Work-Based Learning.

National Honor Society Meeting - Friday!

On Saturday, Coach Nordgren hosted a free wrestling clinic for middle school aged athletes (ages 10-14).
Coach will be hosting open mat every Tuesday and Thursday starting tomorrow in the RRHS wrestling room from 5:15 pm - 6:30 pm. We hope to see more wrestlers in the coming days!

Looking forward to meeting with all our Senior students' families this Wednesday!

The Rio Rico High School Color Guard proudly presented the colors this morning at the Jesus "Chuy" Cordova Foundation Golf Tournament. RRHS-CTE programs remain committed to serving and supporting our community through student involvement. A special thanks to Army Retired LTC Roque for his continued dedication and support of our students.

RRHS CTSO’s were actively present as part of their Work Based Learning during the Varsity Footbal game. The Sports Medicine Interns gained valuable experience while shadowing and absorbing knowledge from the Athletic Trainer. JROTC Color Guard proudly presented the colors before the kickoff. Law and Public Safety students provided parking control and patrolled the perimeter throughout the game. Special thanks to the RRHS Athletics Department for organizing such a successful event.

Rio Rico High School STUCO brought the campus together by organizing a variety of fun games for students to enjoy. The HawX Dance Team energized the crowd with an exciting performance during lunch. We invite our community to come out and support our upcoming Home Game against NHS—show your spirit by wearing red and cheering loud for our RRHS Hawks Football team. At Rio Rico High School, we believe Relationships and Winning Matters!
