Celebrating Día de Muertos with Altares
As part of the Día de Muertos tradition, students create altares (altars) to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. These altars, often vibrant and full of symbolic elements, are a way to welcome the spirits back for a night of celebration.
Día de Muertos is a time for families to come together to celebrate life, memory, and the connection between past and present generations. The altares are not just tributes but expressions of love and respect, keeping the memories of our loved ones alive in a colorful, heartfelt way.

Spirit Week!
3rd-5th Grade Cougar Families, our 1st Elementary Fun Run will be on Friday, October 25th at RRHS—only students who turned in the permission slips on October 11th. Parents must pick up students by 4:45 pm. The first race is at 3:10 pm. See you there!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 23rd, students can wear a pink-appropriate top/shirt/t-shirt with uniform bottoms. Also, we are having early release.
Octubre es el mes de la concientización del cáncer de mama!
Mañana miércoles 23 de octubre, los estudiantes podrán vestirse con camiseta/blusa/playera apropiada con los pantalones de uniforme. También los alumnos saldrán temprano de la escuela.

The Site Council Meeting has been changed to Wednesday, October 30th at 9:30 AM
The Students vs. Staff Volleyball game was a thrilling, fun-filled match from start to finish! Both teams played their hearts out, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. In the end, the staff took the win, but the real victory was the incredible energy, teamwork, and fun shared by everyone involved. Thanks to all who participated and cheered—what a great reminder of our school spirit!"
¡El juego de voleibol Estudiantes vs. Personal fue un partido emocionante y lleno de diversión de principio a fin! Ambos equipos jugaron con todo su corazón, manteniendo al público al borde de sus asientos. Al final, el personal se llevó la victoria, pero la verdadera victoria fue la increíble energía, el trabajo en equipo y la diversión compartida por todos los involucrados. Gracias a todos los que participaron y aplaudieron. ¡Qué gran recordatorio de nuestro espíritu escolar!"
