Yesterday, our Cougars brought the energy at our pep rally as we got pumped up and ready for state testing, which begins today! 💪🐾
We also took time to celebrate some of our amazing students who scored a Level 3 and 4 on last year’s state tests. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication! 🌟👏
To all of our students: good luck on this year’s tests! We believe in you, we’re cheering you on, and we know you’re going to do GREAT! 🧠✨

🎉 Big congratulations to Leonardo Ochoa! 🎉
Leonardo Ochoa, a 3rd grader from Calabasas School, has been selected as a winner of the AZ529 Art Contest. Out of 906 entries from K–6 students across 15 counties, Leonardo is one of just 19 winners statewide and the ONLY winner from Santa Cruz County.
Leonardo was recognized at the Arizona State Capitol, where he received $529 toward his college savings and had the opportunity to meet Arizona Sate Treasurer Kimberly Yee.
